Corporate Visions Should Be Visible Elements and Encourage Creative Thinking

- The artist Maria Lehtman emphasizes how important it is to bring forth corporate and organizational identities through interior decoration and art work.

Values and aspirations are an inseparable part of each company's identity and self-image. However, values do not have to be restricted to annual reports or marketing. They can be tightly interlocked with corporate activity from interior decoration to ‘Thank-You’ cards. With an integrated visual appearance corporate values transform into a story, which greets the customers even as they step through the door.

In order to visualize these stories Maria Lehtman created a concept called NaturEpic. The concept is based on looking at each customer’s set of values and transforming them into nature images complimenting the entire interior decoration and communication. The idea behind the images is to bring harmony and balance to the working environment enhancing the positive experience.

NatureEpic concept was successfully carried our e.g. in the premises of the American Chamber of Commerce in Finland when the décor of the new office space was planned. Interior decoration planning was founded on the chamber’s visions: Encouraging Initiative, Creating Opportunities, Building Partnerships and Defining the Future. Artist Maria Lehtman and Interior Decorator Pinja Lehtman (Design House Lehtman) worked together with AmCham Finland in order to create a premise which both inspires the staff and reflects the identity of the organization and its goals.

Maria Lehtman’s imagery for AmCham Finland will be published during AmCham Open House June 1, 2006 in Helsinki.
